I am currently working for Skill Check Games, LLC. making art assets for Utherous. When I get some free time I plan to make new assets/environments and give the website a complete overhaul. 6/2/2014 2 Comments Hylian ShieldI continued on with the Hylian Shield in Maya until I was happy with it, mostly I have been getting back into Zbrush since I have not used it in quite some time. I brought the shield into Zbrush and am very close to finishing the hi-res sculpt. Next step: Texturing!
5/29/2014 0 Comments Hard Surface, Maya 2015Downloaded Maya 2015 to see how it runs, turns out I really like it! So what better way to test out the new program with a new hard surface model.
I am recreating the Hylian Shield from The Legend of Zelda series. So far it is blocked out in Maya, then I'll be heading into Zbrush to get the detail into it. Having fun with it so far, being my first hard surface model in quite some time. Texturing will either be done in Photoshop, or I may try to tackle it in Zbrush. 5/12/2014 0 Comments Website Re-WorkHey everyone, finally getting around to finishing my website and getting it back online. Recently I have been working on some personal projects for my portfolio and trying to learn some new programs to better my work. My most recent WIP is the Lamborghini Gallardo. I have done this completely in Maya so far and am almost ready to bring it into Zbrush. Stay tuned to see more work from me in the coming weeks.
